Active assailant trainings scheduled at CSN campuses this November

CSN and University Police Services are organizing active assailant training sessions at their three campuses in November. These sessions aim to enhance safety and preparedness among students, faculty, and staff.

The training will focus on essential response strategies and safety protocols for dealing with an active assailant situation on campus. Participants can choose from several sessions according to their convenience:

– Charleston Campus: Tuesday, Nov. 5, in the WC D101 Auditorium, with sessions from 11 a.m. to noon and 4 – 5 p.m.
– Henderson Campus: Tuesday, Nov. 12, in the HN C133 Auditorium, with sessions from 1 – 2 p.m. and 4 – 5 p.m.
– North Las Vegas Campus: Tuesday, Nov. 19, in room NLV A1772, with sessions from 11 a.m. to noon and 4 – 5 p.m.

Attendance does not require prior registration, and all CSN students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to participate.
