Benjamin Mendoza has been named the May 2024 Employee of the Month by the Administrative Faculty Assembly (AFA) at the College of Southern Nevada (CSN). Mendoza, an Academic Advisor for Health Sciences Programs at the Henderson Campus, was nominated by Angel Clemens.

Mendoza is recognized for his dedication to advocating for students and prospective individuals interested in CSN. His commitment extends to supporting students from diverse backgrounds, including AAPIME, Latinos, African American, and LGBTQ communities.

The AFA is currently seeking nominations for June 2024. They encourage recognizing contributions made by administrative and professional faculty at CSN. Nominations can be submitted through a short online form due on the 15th of each month.
