Cafe Verde, located at the Dandini Campus in the V. James Eardley Student Center, has introduced a new online ordering system for Spring 2025. This service allows customers to order meals for pickup from their computers or smartphones between 8:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

The cafe offers a diverse menu that includes seasonal, healthy options such as vegetables and fruits. Chef Samuel Wesley, Food Service Manager, emphasized the use of eco-friendly materials and the management of catering services for the college. “We run special items to see if they stick. If so, we change the spread,” said Wesley.

For those in a hurry, Cafe Verde provides a grab-and-go fridge stocked with daily-made provisions. Breakfast and lunch specials are available throughout the week, along with a salad bar and various beverages. The staff is dedicated to providing quick service in a welcoming environment.

Wesley highlighted his team’s qualifications and commitment to efficient service: “My team and I are ServSafe-certified and stay up-to-date on local changes through contact with our health inspectors. Between online ordering and having our ‘mise en place’ [everything in its place], we do our best for ten-minute ticket times.”

Visitors can enjoy their meals indoors or outside under a pergola while taking in views of the Sierra Nevada mountain range.
