Career development events in May include mentorship, job placement, and training support

May offers several events aimed at career development, from acquiring mentors to securing job opportunities and obtaining assistance with educational expenses.

An information session for the Career & Technical Education Assistance Program (CTEAP) is scheduled for May 6 at 12 p.m. at the Henderson Campus, Multicultural Center. The CTEAP program provides financial support to students in hands-on career fields, covering costs such as textbooks, uniforms, and tools. Registrations are open at the provided link.

On May 8, Caesars Entertainment will host a resume review and hiring event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Charleston and North Las Vegas campuses. Participants will have the chance to meet recruiters, receive resume feedback, and apply for jobs. Interested individuals are encouraged to attend prepared with their resumes.

Additionally, the Mentor & Match Virtual Sessions will occur on May 2 and May 9. These sessions offer guidance on utilizing CSN’s mentoring application to connect with mentors or become one. RSVPs are available through the shared link.
