College honors Lorena Rodriguez-Rios as employee of the month

Lorena Rodriguez-Rios has been named the Employee of the Month for January 2025. Serving as a Program Manager at the Multicultural Center, Office of Diversity & Multicultural Affairs, she was nominated anonymously. Lorena is described as “cheerful, collaborative, intentional, creative, and passionate about her work.” Her efforts have significantly impacted the Multicultural Center by fostering a welcoming environment and earning respect from colleagues seeking collaboration.

The Administrative Faculty Assembly is now accepting nominations for February 2025. They aim to recognize administrative and professional faculty contributions at the College of Southern Nevada. Those interested in nominating a deserving colleague are encouraged to fill out an online form by the 15th of each month.
