The College of Southern Nevada (CSN) will host a “Spirit Rally” on September 11, 2024, at the North Las Vegas Campus. The event, organized by the Associated Students of the College of Southern Nevada, aims to honor 9/11, support first responders, and celebrate CSN athletes.

Scheduled from 4-5:30 p.m., the rally will take place in the Tyrone Thompson Student Union Ballroom. It is expected to draw students, faculty, staff, and community members. Athletic teams will be present to engage with attendees.

Yvonne Wade, CSN’s Athletic Director, will attend as the guest of honor. She plans to discuss how athletics at CSN contribute to character building, teamwork, and resilience.

Participants will have opportunities to interact with athletes from sports such as soccer, volleyball, and cross-country. The event concludes with a volleyball home game at 7 p.m.
