College recognizes Ann Thompson as employee of the month

Ann Thompson has been named the February 2025 Employee of the Month by the Administrative Faculty Assembly (AFA) at the College of Southern Nevada. Ann was nominated anonymously and recognized for her significant contributions to advising, team support, and student advocacy.

Her efforts include creating informative brochures for programs, supporting skill-building for academically struggling students, designing communication materials like posters and PowerPoints, and delivering engaging presentations. Additionally, she has been noted for decorating spaces to create a welcoming atmosphere and connecting with students from Hawai`i to provide tailored support.

The AFA is currently seeking nominations for March 2025. Those who wish to recognize administrative or professional faculty can fill out an online nomination form by the 15th of each month.
