Streetcrafter, a T-shirt business, emerged from a College of Southern Nevada (CSN) business class where students engaged in practical learning through a makerspace environment. This approach facilitated hands-on experience in T-shirt production and e-commerce, fostering the entrepreneurial ambitions of its founders, Santos and Medin.

Kevin Raiford, an MBA Business Professor and Department Chair at CSN, emphasized the educational goal behind such initiatives: “My goal is to give students the tools to turn their ideas into businesses.” He highlighted Streetcrafter as “a shining example of what happens when creativity meets opportunity.”

The business model of Streetcrafter has now returned to the classroom setting. Dr. DeClouette, a professor at CSN, has incorporated it into her curriculum. Students are witnessing firsthand how creative concepts can translate into tangible success.
