CSN Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) is organizing an in-person Mental Health First Aid Training session. Scheduled for Friday, February 28, 2025, the training will take place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the North Las Vegas Campus, specifically in the Student Union Multicultural Center, Room U121.

The program aims to equip participants with skills to identify signs of mental health issues, provide initial assistance, and guide individuals towards appropriate resources. The training is likened to CPR but focuses on mental health.

Those interested are encouraged to register by emailing MentalHealth.FirstAid@csn.edu as space is limited. For those unable to attend this session, additional training opportunities will be available in the future.
