CSN’s Charleston campus recently hosted the La Cumbre Math Summit, an event dedicated to celebrating student achievements and the influence of El Mapa Matemático. This math support program is funded by CSN’s first Title V HSI grant.

During the summit, students shared their personal experiences of overcoming challenges and gaining confidence in mathematics. Faculty members and community partners were acknowledged for their contributions to fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments.

“This is more than a roadmap, it’s a launchpad,” stated Acting President Dr. William Kibler during his closing remarks. “Together, we’re building a future where every student belongs.”

The summit represents a significant step in CSN’s ongoing efforts to promote equity, access, and success for students in STEM fields.

¡Gracias a todos y felicidades!
