Leticia Wells, Director of Dual Credit and Early College Programming at the College of Southern Nevada (CSN), has been elected to serve on the National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships (NACEP) Advocacy Commission as the Region 5 representative. Her term began on December 2, 2025, and will continue through November 30, 2027.

NACEP is recognized as the only accrediting body in the United States for concurrent enrollment partnerships. The organization works to ensure that college courses taught in high schools maintain standards equivalent to those offered on college campuses.

In her new role, Wells will contribute to national discussions about access, quality, and pathways from high school to college. She will represent a Western regional perspective within these conversations. According to the announcement: “It’s a well-deserved honor and a win for students, educators, and CSN.”

The College of Southern Nevada operates as Nevada’s largest community college with campuses in Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, and Henderson. It offers more than 180 degrees and certificates across over 70 fields of study and emphasizes two-year programs as well as workforce training. The institution provides flexible class options including online formats. As a Minority Serving Institution and Nevada’s first Hispanic Serving Institution, CSN promotes an inclusive environment for its diverse student population while supporting career advancement and transfer opportunities (official website).

CSN also maintains multiple learning centers throughout southern Nevada in addition to its main campuses (official website). Since its establishment in 1971, CSN has focused on providing higher education options tailored to community needs (official website).

“Congratulations Leticia, we look forward to your success in this new role.”
