The College of Southern Nevada (CSN) is set to host a unique musical event that blends opera and mariachi music. The performance, titled “Celebración Latina: A Mariachi Fiesta,” will take place at the Nicholas J. Horn Theatre on Sunday, March 16, at 3 p.m.

Organized by Opera Las Vegas, the event promises to offer a mix of opera’s powerful vocals with mariachi’s passionate tunes. Attendees can expect an array of performances from heartfelt ballads to lively rancheras. Among the performers will be CSN’s own Mariachi Plata ensemble.

The venue for this event is located at 3200 E. Cheyenne Ave., North Las Vegas. Tickets are currently available online, and inquiries can be directed to director@operalasvegas.com.
