With the Open Enrollment period for health insurance set to begin on November 1, the Nevada Division of Insurance has announced that Plan Year 2025 health insurance rates and plans are now available for review. Consumers in Nevada can choose from up to 185 plans in the individual health insurance market, both on and off the Silver State Health Insurance Exchange.
Insurance Commissioner Scott Kipper stated, “We are pleased to offer consumers the ability to review their insurance options in advance and to identify the plan that best accommodates their budget and coverage needs.” He further encouraged Nevadans to explore their options before the enrollment period starts.
Open Enrollment is a crucial time for many residents as it offers an opportunity to enroll in Affordable Care Act-compliant plans without needing a qualifying life event. This year, a diverse range of 185 plans will be available, ensuring accessibility and affordability.
The following companies will provide health insurance plans for 2025: Aetna Health, Health Plan of Nevada, HMO Nevada, Hometown Health Plan, Hometown Health Providers (Off-Exchange only), Imperial Insurance Companies (On-Exchange only), Molina Healthcare of Nevada (On-Exchange only), Select Health, Sierra Health & Life (Off-Exchange only), and SilverSummit.
Nevadans can review these health plans through the Division’s website at healthrates.doi.nv.gov. The site provides detailed information about each plan, including premium rates and coverage options. For rate changes or comments on listed plans, individuals can visit doi.nv.gov/rate-filings/.
