A survey regarding the digital transformation of the Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) will be sent to customers on December 6, 2021. This initiative aims to gather public input as the DMV transitions most services online over the next four years.
Julie Butler, Director of the Nevada DMV, emphasized the importance of customer feedback in shaping this transformation. “We want the public’s input on what the future looks like for the DMV,” Butler stated. “Customers are key to helping us enhance the DMV experience for all Nevadans.”
The survey will reach approximately 20,000 MyDMV account holders and 4,000 business customers across Nevada. It is designed to collect insights about recent experiences with the DMV and gauge technology preferences and concerns.
Additionally, customers will have an opportunity to express interest in joining focus groups that will begin in early 2022. While participation in the survey is voluntary, responses are anonymous. Recipients can access it via a hyperlink included in a no-reply email or through links provided on dmvnv.com.
Butler assured that participants would not need to provide personally identifiable information and that responses would solely contribute to improving future DMV services. “The DMV protects the privacy of Nevadans’ personal information as part of our core mission,” she said. “The survey responses will be used only to contribute to helping build the DMV of the future.”
Future surveys may follow throughout this four-year process to ensure alignment with customer service needs and preferences.
