The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) has announced an upcoming project on US-93 North of Alamo in Lincoln County, between mileposts 40.000 and 50.600. The project involves milling and filling.

Construction is set to begin on Monday, July 29, and is expected to last for approximately two months. During this period, the posted speed limit within the construction work zone will be 55 mph. On weekdays, traffic control will include single-lane closures with flaggers and a pilot car alternating traffic directions. Drivers should anticipate delays of up to 30 minutes.

Motorists are advised to exercise caution while traveling through work zones and consider taking alternate detour routes if possible. NDOT collaborates with Waze to keep the public informed about planned highway restrictions. The schedule may change due to weather or other factors.

Additional state highway information can be found at dot.nv.gov or by calling (775) 888-7000. For the latest state highway conditions, visit nvroads.com or call 511 before driving.
