The Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE) Board of Regents is advancing its search for a permanent Chancellor and a new President for the College of Southern Nevada (CSN). Committees in charge of each search have appointed executive search firms to assist with the process.

The ad hoc Chancellor Search Committee has chosen Greenwood Asher & Associates. This firm has a notable history of aiding colleges and universities in hiring top leaders. It will collaborate with the committee to ensure an inclusive and transparent selection process for the next Chancellor, who will guide NSHE in promoting student success, workforce development, and system-wide excellence.

For the CSN President position, the ad hoc CSN President Search Committee selected Academic Search. This firm specializes in identifying leaders for higher education institutions. Academic Search will support the committee in finding a leader for CSN, which is Nevada’s largest and most diverse higher education institution. The incoming President will significantly influence the college’s future and its impact on Southern Nevada.

Amy J. Carvalho, Chair of the NSHE Board of Regents, stated: “We are committed to finding exceptional leaders who understand the unique opportunities within the Nevada System of Higher Education.” She added that by choosing experienced and reputable search firms, they are ensuring a comprehensive process to find leaders who will advance their goals of student success, innovation, and inclusivity.
