Revised ramp closures announced for Interstate I‐515 in Las Vegas Valley

The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) has announced a revised schedule for ramp closures and lane restrictions on Interstate 515 (I-515)/U.S. 95 in Henderson and the eastern Las Vegas valley. These upcoming restrictions are necessary for loop installation and reflectivity testing on I-515/U.S. 95 between Sunset Road and Wyoming Avenue.

From 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 30 to 5:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 31, the Galleria Drive on-ramp to southbound I-515/U.S. 95 will be closed.

From 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 31 to 5:00 a.m. Thursday, August 1, northbound I-515/U.S. 95 will be reduced to one lane between Russell Road and Harmon Avenue.

From 8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 1 to 5:00 a.m. Friday, August 2:
– The Russell Road on-ramp to I-515/U.S. 95 will be closed.
– The Boulder Highway on-ramp to I-515/U.S. 95 will be closed.
– Northbound I-515/U.S. 95 will be reduced to one lane between Boulder Highway and Sahara Avenue.

Between 1:00 a.m. and 3:00 a.m., Friday, August 2:
– There will be rolling one-lane closures on both southbound and northbound I-515 between Mt. Vista Street and Sunset Road.
Traffic control during this period will be facilitated by attenuator trucks.

From 5:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 3:
– The Galleria Drive on-ramp to northbound I-515/U.S.95 will be closed.

Motorists are advised to exercise caution while traveling through work zones and consider alternate detour routes if possible. NDOT collaborates with Waze to inform the public about planned highway restrictions; however, the schedule is subject to change due to weather or other factors.
