The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) has announced extended restrictions on St. Rose Parkway and Interstate 15 (I-15) as part of the ongoing I-15 South Project. The traffic control measures are necessary for the construction of a sound wall.

Beginning Monday, July 29 through late September, motorists should expect intermittent daily closures of the St. Rose Parkway on-ramp to southbound I-15 from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Drivers will be detoured to the Sloan Road on-ramp to southbound I-15 via Las Vegas Boulevard. Closures will primarily take place on weekdays with intermittent work on Saturdays. Work is occurring during daytime hours to prevent overnight disruptions for nearby residents.

The work is part of an $86 million project to widen the freeway and improve nearly nine miles of I-15 between Sloan Road and Warm Springs Road. Project information is available at www.dot.nv.gov/i15SouthProject.

Motorists should exercise caution while traveling through work zones and, if possible, take alternate detour routes. NDOT works with Waze to inform the public about planned highway restrictions. The schedule is subject to change due to weather or other factors.
