The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) has announced the upcoming closure of Interstate 11's southbound lanes at the US-95/SR-173 junction in Boulder City. The closure is scheduled for Wednesday, July 31, from 5:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and is necessary to conduct asphalt repairs.

During this period, southbound I-11 will be closed at the US-95/SR-173 junction. Drivers will be detoured onto SR-173 and then to Business Route US-93 through Boulder City.

Motorists are advised to exercise caution while traveling through work zones and to consider alternate detour routes if possible. NDOT collaborates with Waze to inform the public about planned highway restrictions. The schedule may change due to weather or other factors.
