The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) has announced lane restrictions on southbound Interstate 15 (I-15) as part of the ongoing I-15 South Project. These traffic control measures are necessary for barrier rail installation and drainage work.

From eastbound I-215 to Silverado Ranch Blvd, southbound I-15 will be reduced to three lanes 24 hours a day through early September.

This work is part of an $86 million project aimed at widening the freeway and improving nearly nine miles of I-15 between Sloan Rd and Warm Springs Rd. Project information is available at www.dot.nv.gov/i15SouthProject.

Motorists are advised to exercise caution while traveling through work zones and to consider alternate detour routes if possible. NDOT collaborates with Waze to inform the public about planned highway restrictions. The schedule is subject to change due to weather or other factors.

Additional state highway information can be found at dot.nv.gov or by calling (775) 888-7000. For the latest state highway conditions, visit nvroads.com or call 511 before driving.
