The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) has announced upcoming lane restrictions as the I-515 (U.S. 95)/Charleston project nears substantial completion this summer.
From Sunday, July 28 to Friday, August 2, nightly lane reductions will occur from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. East and westbound Charleston Blvd will be reduced to one lane between Sacramento Dr and Honolulu St. These restrictions are necessary for work related to the final phase of the I-515/Charleston project, which began in August 2022 and is expected to reach substantial completion by the end of July.
Drivers are encouraged to visit www.i515charleston.com for the latest project updates and detailed bilingual information about traffic restrictions. Motorists should exercise caution while traveling through work zones and consider using alternate detour routes if possible.
NDOT collaborates with Waze to inform the public about planned highway restrictions. The schedule may change due to weather or other factors.
