Attorney General Aaron Ford highlights achievements in recent biennial report

Earlier this month, Attorney General Aaron Ford's office submitted its biennial report to the Nevada Legislature and Governor Joe Lombardo. The document, spanning over 50 pages, details the achievements of the Office of the Attorney General over the past two years.

"This report outlines the successes of my office in the last two years — success from challenges that I and my staff met head-on. AG Ford’s administration operates under a set of policy priorities known as the “5 Cs,” which include constitutional rights, criminal justice and reform, consumer protection, client service, and community engagement.

The biennial report highlights several accomplishments:

- Prosecution of 25 individuals involved in crimes related to "john" stings.

- Launch of "Empowering Consumers through Education" initiative by AG Ford as Chairman of the Attorney General Alliance.

- Agreement with Google on anticompetitive conduct within Google Play Store, resulting in approximately $800,000 for Nevada.

- Success in obtaining over $13.4 million in judgments by Medicaid Fraud Control Unit.

- Assurance letter from AG Ford regarding DEI programs' legality following a Supreme Court decision; co-signed by 20 other attorneys general.
