The Associated Students of the College of Southern Nevada (ASCSN) is calling on students to join their ranks and make a difference on campus. ASCSN, the student government organization at CSN, aims to represent the interests of students, faculty, and staff.

"Are you passionate about making a difference on campus? Do you want to be a part of a dynamic team that advocates for student needs and promotes a vibrant campus community?" reads an invitation from ASCSN.

ASCSN is seeking motivated students for various leadership roles. The available positions include ASCSN Secretary, Treasurer, North Las Vegas Campus Senator, Charleston Campus Senators, and Henderson Campus Senators. These roles involve tasks such as managing finances, keeping records, advocating for campus improvements, organizing events, and addressing student concerns.

"Joining ASCSN is not only a chance to develop your leadership skills and network with fellow students—it’s also an opportunity to receive a scholarship and a part-time job while making a positive impact on campus," says ASCSN.

Students interested in these opportunities are encouraged to apply. "We encourage all eligible students to consider running for ASCSN positions and becoming champions for their peers," states the announcement.

For more information or to apply for positions within ASCSN, interested parties are advised to visit their website or contact them directly.
