The College of Southern Nevada (CSN) is preparing for the fiscal year 2024-2025 with a focus on enhancing its Adult Basic Education programs. The staff is working on new strategies to improve educational experiences, including refining class schedules and conducting instructor evaluations.

Gladis Barrios, Program Manager at CSN, expressed optimism about the future initiatives. "We’re dedicated to enhancing our programs and providing a conducive learning environment for our students. The upcoming fiscal year holds great promise, and we’re eager to unveil our plans during the FY 24-25 Back to School meeting," Barrios stated.

CSN has welcomed new team members as part of its workforce expansion. Brenda Bell, Julissa Hernandez, and Jazmin Monzon have joined as student workers, while Zuzuki Carlson and Natalie Gutierrez are stepping in as Advisors. These additions aim to strengthen support for both students and faculty.

In a notable achievement, CSN exceeded its target by serving 1,020 students this year, surpassing the initial goal of 852. Barrios praised the team's dedication: "This accomplishment is a testament to the unwavering commitment of our staff and faculty. Together, we’ve made a significant impact on the lives of our students."

As summer approaches, CSN encourages everyone to enjoy their break while looking forward to developments in the next academic year. The institution remains committed to empowering students and fostering community success.
