The Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) has introduced a new appointment system, WaitWell, across all its metropolitan and rural offices. This development aims to enhance customer service by significantly reducing wait times for appointments.

Director Tonya Laney expressed enthusiasm about the launch, stating, "We are thrilled to bring this new system to our offices. We are solely focused on providing the best customer service possible and are already seeing great results with appointment availability going from several months out to just a few days."

The WaitWell system allows customers to check in for their appointments using a QR code scanned with their mobile devices, eliminating the need to visit the information counter. Additionally, customers will receive text notifications as their appointment time approaches, enabling them to attend to other tasks while waiting.

In Las Vegas, Henderson, and Reno offices, customers must schedule appointments during weekdays except Wednesdays. The DMV encourages online transactions at dmv.nv.gov when possible. Laney advised, "Skip the line altogether and choose online."
