CSN and the Nevada Department of Corrections will host a showcase and job fair on December 5, from 1-4 p.m., at the Florence McClure Women’s Correctional Center. The event is part of the Hospitality Program aimed at assisting students nearing release by providing opportunities to connect with potential employers and community support.

The event will feature notable attendees such as Marchelle Sneed, representing Governor Lombardo, and Congresswoman Dina Titus. Various CSN departments, including Career Services, Financial Aid, and the Academic Success Center, will be present. Community organizations like Alcoholics Anonymous and Pawtastic Friends are also expected to participate.

This initiative is supported by a $1.4 million grant from the Governor’s Office and Nevada Workforce Innovation.
