The Governor's Office of Economic Development (GOED) has announced that three companies receiving abatements will invest $18 million in Nevada. This investment is expected to generate $7.8 million in tax revenue for the state.

Governor Joe Lombardo expressed his support for these investments, stating, "These investments reflect Nevada’s commitment to innovation and economic growth. By supporting these companies, we are not only creating quality jobs but also strengthening Nevada’s leadership in manufacturing, technology, and infrastructure. These new partnerships will help drive long-term prosperity and economic success."

The GOED was established during the 2011 session of the Nevada Legislature as a collaborative effort between the legislature and the governor's office. Its mission is to promote a robust, diversified economy in Nevada by stimulating business expansion and retention, encouraging entrepreneurial enterprise, attracting new businesses, and facilitating community development.
