The U.S. Small Business Administration has announced that Nevada is one of six states to receive a FAST Partnership Program grant. This grant, developed through the GOED-architected application and building on the Sierra Accelerator for Growth and Entrepreneurship (SAGE), aims to enhance the technological competitiveness of innovative small businesses in Nevada seeking funding from the 'American Seed Fund.' Notably, this marks the first time since 2019 that Nevada has been awarded a FAST grant.
Governor Lombardo recently made history by signing AB77, making Nevada the first state to enact 'Right to Start' legislation and establish a dedicated Office of Entrepreneurship within GOED. In line with this momentum, it was announced that Nevada will host the national Startup Champion's Network's conference next spring. These initiatives underscore entrepreneurship as a key pillar of economic development, ensuring a resilient future for Nevadans.
