Americans for Prosperity-South Carolina (AFP-SC) played a significant role in the recent Senate District 17 race, helping Everett Stubbs secure a victory by a narrow margin of 29 votes. The organization deployed its activists to knock on 33,000 doors across the district as part of their grassroots efforts to encourage voter turnout.

Matt Humm, AFP-SC State Director, highlighted the impact of their efforts: “When you see a race so narrowly determined, it’s evident that every door AFP-SC reaches, phone call placed, and mailer sent truly makes a difference. We’re proud of the work of our grassroots activists who helped flipped this seat and recognize our ground game as the secret weapon in strategically engaging in legislative races.”

With Stubbs' win confirmed and no recount necessary, AFP-SC is preparing to collaborate with him at the Statehouse next year as part of their South Carolina Freedom Initiative.
