Americans for Prosperity-Pennsylvania (AFP-PA) has extended congratulations to its endorsed candidates who succeeded in their campaigns, leading to a shift in control of the Pennsylvania State House of Representatives. Among those elected is State Rep. Dawn Keefer, who secured a seat in the 31st Senate District.
In the House, Republican Leader Bryan Cutler and State Representatives Valerie Gaydos, Joe D’Orsie, David Rowe, Robert Leadbeter, Milou Mackenzie, Kate Klunk, and Seth Grove were re-elected. Newcomers Roman Kozak and Jeremy Shaffer also won their initial elections.
Emily Greene, AFP-PA State Director, commented on the election results: “We congratulate our endorsed policy champions–especially those going to Harrisburg for the first time–as well as our returning policy champions. We look forward to working with a broad-based coalition to pass meaningful policy solutions that will improve the lives of Pennsylvanians across the Commonwealth."
Greene also acknowledged the efforts of AFP-PA's supporters: “AFP-PA thanks its grassroots army for joining us to elect these outstanding leaders. We can’t wait to get to work!”
