The College of Southern Nevada (CSN) has recognized Jorge Gamez as the December 2024 Employee of the Month. Gamez, who joined CSN as an Advisor just three months ago, was quickly selected to join a specialized team focusing on advising Dual Enrollment high school students. His ability to advise and learn has been noted by many.
"His skills for advising and learning spill out of him," reads a statement about Gamez's contribution. He collaborates with the Dual Credit Manager to provide exceptional guidance to students, earning praise for his kindness and patience in explaining degree requirements. "Jorge’s work ethic truly demonstrates his dependability and dedication to CSN’s students."
The recognition comes from an anonymous nomination, reflecting the impact of his efforts within the institution.
Meanwhile, the Administrative Faculty Assembly (AFA) at CSN is seeking nominations for future Employee of the Month awards. The AFA encourages recognition of administrative and professional faculty contributions through a short online nomination form available until the 15th of each month.
