The organizational changes announced in September have led to the appointment of two experienced leaders to the President's Cabinet. Clarissa M. Cota, J.D., will assume the role of Vice President for External Relations and Campus Operations. Dr. Yvonne Realivasquez has been appointed as the President’s Chief of Staff.

Cota, who was previously the Vice President of the North Las Vegas Campus, brings a wealth of experience in higher education and law. She holds degrees from the University of Arizona and is a member of the State Bar of Arizona. Her experience includes roles with accrediting bodies such as the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities and leadership positions on various boards.

Dr. Realivasquez transitions from Sul Ross State University in Texas, where she served for 28 years in numerous capacities including Title IX Coordinator and Vice President for Enrollment Management. She holds degrees from Sul Ross State University and a doctorate from Hardin Simmons University.

"Please join me in congratulating them both," stated William L. Kibler, Ph.D., Acting President.
