CSN announces leadership restructuring with key appointments

The College of Southern Nevada (CSN) has announced changes to its leadership structure, aiming for improved efficiency and effectiveness in serving its students and community. The reorganization was highlighted with the appointments of Clarissa M. Cota, J.D., as the new Vice President for External Relations and Campus Operations, and Dr. Yvonne Realivasquez as the new Chief of Staff.

The institution released several organizational charts detailing updates on changes that have been made or are in progress. These include departments such as Executive Team, President’s Cabinet, President’s Office, Academic Affairs, External Relations and Campus Operations, Student Affairs, Finance and Administration.

The announcement also noted that some departmental realignments are pending until certain positions are filled. Additional hiring processes are underway or will soon begin for roles including Vice President for Finance and Administration, Chief Human Resources Officer, Senior Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs, Associate Vice President for Academic Partnerships, and Associate Vice President for Campus Operations. It was clarified that these positions represent either filling interim roles or realigning previously eliminated positions.

The college's president expressed gratitude for the support and patience shown during this transition period aimed at better positioning CSN to serve its students effectively.
