The Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) has announced the addition of Paolo David to its public information officer team. David, who began his role on December 9, 2024, will act as the media liaison for the Carson City DMV and nearby northern offices.
David transitions to this position from his previous role as marketing and communications manager at United Way of Northern Nevada. He also has experience in various creative multimedia projects in Northern Nevada as a freelance marketer. A Navy veteran, David completed his Master of Business Administration at the University of Nevada, Reno, in 2023.
“I’m really honored to be here,” David stated. “Coming from a very diverse background as a veteran and a marketer, I believe that I can be an asset to the DMV and our community.” He expressed enthusiasm about contributing to the DMV’s Transformation Effort (DTE) initiative.
In his new role, David will collaborate with Hailey Foster, public information officer II based in Las Vegas. Foster joined the DMV in January 2024 and is nearing her one-year anniversary with the department.
“I think we [the PIO team] have the coolest job in the state,” said Foster. “We get to sit in on so many different roles and really learn the ins and outs of the department.”
Together, David and Foster aim to enhance communication with the public and keep customers informed about significant news and updates from the DMV.
