WNC announces fall dean's list with 478 student achievers

Western Nevada College (WNC) has announced its Dean's List for the Fall 2024 semester, recognizing 478 students for their academic achievements. This marks one of the highest numbers in recent history, surpassed only by the 487 students recognized in Fall 2023.

"We are very proud of the 478 students who excelled academically during our Fall 2024 Semester," stated WNC President Dr. J. Kyle Dalpe. "WNC is also very appreciative of the instruction and support these students received from our faculty and staff. WNC is serving more students in more than 10 years and they are all excelling in their studies."

To qualify for this honor, students must complete at least 12 units during the semester and achieve a grade point average of 3.50 or higher.

The list includes students from various regions such as Carson City, Churchill County, Dayton, Fallon, Fernley, Gardnerville, Hawthorne, Henderson, Las Vegas, Laughlin, Minden, Mound House, North Las Vegas, Reno, Silver City, Silver Springs, Smith Valley, Sparks, Stagecoach, Sun Valley, Tonopah Virginia City Highlands Virginia City Washoe Valley Wellington Yerington Zephyr Cove Perris California Roseville California South Lake Tahoe California.
