The College of Southern Nevada (CSN) has issued a statement addressing the institution's role in education and its commitment to the community amidst national developments. Acting President Bill Kibler emphasized the significance of college education as "the promise of America" and described it as a means to improve lives, offer opportunities, and uplift individuals from poverty.

Kibler highlighted CSN's ongoing support for its campus community by closely monitoring national policy changes. He assured that resources would be provided to assist both students and staff in adapting to new policies. CSN remains committed to maintaining a safe and inclusive campus environment that acknowledges the diversity within its community.
"Our campus is home to each of you; recognizing that you are from different socio-economic backgrounds; that you range in age from high school age just embarking on your higher education journey to adult learners returning to college; that you may be veterans or you may be working parents; that you are individuals of various faiths; people with different abilities; and that you are learners of every race, ethnicity, gender, identity, and orientation," Kibler stated.
In his closing remarks, Kibler expressed pride in the diverse student body at CSN, referring to them as "Coyotes," who represent future professionals across various fields such as nursing, education, science, writing, business, and community leadership.
