Americans for Prosperity-South Carolina (AFP-SC) is actively participating in National School Choice Week, emphasizing the importance of diverse educational opportunities. This week marks a nationwide celebration of various education pathways that cater to individual learning needs.

The organization has consistently advocated for flexible education models that allow parents to make informed choices for their children. During this week, AFP's grassroots supporters are joining celebrations in Columbia and other cities across the country to promote expanded learning options for South Carolina students.

Candace Carroll, AFP-SC Director of Public Affairs, stated: "We are thrilled to celebrate National School Choice Week, a time to recognize and appreciate the diverse educational options available to families across South Carolina. To best serve South Carolina’s learners and their future aspirations, we must continue to work with legislators to ensure all opportunities for education freedom and growth remain available and universal while supporting traditional public schools, private schools, homeschooling, micro schooling and other pathways to success."

In light of the South Carolina Supreme Court's decision against the Education Scholarship Trust Fund Act, Carroll has expressed support for an adaptable educational environment benefiting all students in the state. AFP-SC aims to join 12 other states that have implemented universal school choice as part of its priorities for 2025.
