Emergencies can occur without warning, making preparedness essential. The College of Southern Nevada (CSN) offers a comprehensive set of resources to help individuals stay safe and ready for various situations.

The CSN Emergency Preparedness webpage serves as a central hub for safety information. Available resources include an Emergency Response Guide, which provides quick references for handling different emergencies, and a list of emergency phone numbers. Additionally, there is a Bomb Threat Checklist available for use if needed.

CSN emphasizes the importance of practical experience through hands-on training sessions. These sessions offer participants the opportunity to practice using emergency equipment such as fire extinguishers and Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs). An upcoming training session is scheduled at the North Las Vegas Campus.

Faculty and staff at CSN have exclusive access to additional safety tools via the Emergency Preparedness MS Teams channel. This includes general emergency resources, building-specific response plans, evacuation assembly point maps, and internal evacuation maps.

"Stay Informed. Stay Safe. Stay Ready," encourages CSN in their outreach efforts. By utilizing these resources and participating in training opportunities, individuals can be better prepared to respond effectively when emergencies arise.
