Lake Tahoe representatives convened with Congressional leaders in Washington D.C. to address the priorities of the Lake Tahoe Environmental Improvement Program (EIP). The program, referred to as Team Tahoe, includes environmental groups, government agencies, business community members, and key implementers dedicated to preserving and restoring Lake Tahoe.

The name "Team Tahoe" was originally coined by the late U.S. Senator Dianne Feinstein. This coalition aims to further the goals of the EIP through collaborative efforts.

Participants from Team Tahoe included Steve Teshara, Director of Government Relations; Jim Marino, Acting District Manager; Devin Middlebrook and Noa Banayan, both serving as Government Affairs Managers; Serrell Smokey, Chairman; and Shaydar Edelmann, Vice President and General Manager as well as a member of the Tahoe Fund Board.
