United Way of Southern Nevada (UWSN) is set to host the Women United Fierce & Fearless Fashion Show Luncheon, presented by Light & Wonder. The event is scheduled for Saturday, April 12, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at KAOS Nightclub at The Palms.
The event, aimed at celebrating women's empowerment and community impact, will feature prominent local female leaders. The theme 'Fierce & Fearless' will honor women breaking barriers in Southern Nevada. The fashion show will be a key highlight, showcasing designs that symbolize strength and confidence.
In addition to fashion, the luncheon will include a silent auction of exclusive items and experiences. Attendees will also hear from keynote speaker Nada Lena Nasserdeen, an advocate for women's empowerment and founder of Rise Up For You.
“This year’s Women United Fierce & Fearless Fashion Show Luncheon will be a powerful celebration of the inspiring women who are shaping our community through their strength, resilience, and leadership,” said Samuel Rudd, President and CEO of United Way of Southern Nevada. “We are proud to honor these leaders who are driving positive change, and to support Women United’s efforts in creating pathways to opportunity for individuals, children, and families across Southern Nevada.”
The initiative is supported by Light & Wonder, the presenting sponsor. Tracy Skenandore, Vice President of Social Impact & Sustainability at Light & Wonder, commented, “At Light & Wonder, we are honored to partner with United Way of Southern Nevada in their mission to create lasting, transformative change. Our commitment to supporting their efforts reflects our dedication to building stronger, more resilient communities, empowering individuals, and driving meaningful impact where it’s needed most. Together, we aim to foster enduring change and are proud to champion organizations that deliver vital programs for those facing the greatest challenges, both within our communities and beyond.”
Tickets and sponsorship options for the event are available until Friday, April 4. Proceeds will fund scholarships for local women to attend college.
