Nevada System of Higher Education to host forums for chancellor candidates

Public forums featuring three finalists for the position of chancellor of the Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE) are scheduled for Tuesday, April 8, at the system headquarters in Las Vegas. The candidates are Matt McNair, J.D., TJ Bliss, Ph.D., and Richard Ludwick, J.D., D.Ed. Forums will be held at different times, with McNair from 8:30 to 10 a.m., Bliss from 10:30 to noon, and Ludwick from 1 to 2:30 p.m.

The ad hoc Chancellor Search Committee will meet to interview the candidates on Wednesday, April 8, at 9 a.m. A recommendation to the Board of Regents may be made following this meeting. The Board of Regents is scheduled to convene at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 9, to potentially select a new chancellor.

Both the forums and meetings will be available via live stream on nshe.nevada.edu/live. The public is invited to submit comments and questions through the NSHE website.
