The Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) has announced that its new service, Turbo Titles, is now accessible in all DMV offices across the state. Nevadans can apply for a new or duplicate vehicle title online using a DriveNV account.

“We are so thrilled to see another successful product rollout to our customers,” said DMV Director Tonya Laney. “In just a few short months, we have seen tremendous value in this service, and I am excited to see how many more customers find ease and convenience with it.”

This service accommodates those who purchased or leased a vehicle from an out-of-state dealer, received a vehicle from a private party, new Nevada residents with an existing vehicle, and those needing a duplicate Nevada title.

Turbo Titles initially launched at the DMV offices in Elko and Sahara on January 13, expanding upon the parent product, Rapid Registration, which became available statewide in December 2024. Recent enhancements to both products aim to improve the user experience, allowing customers to log into the DriveNV portal to complete the titling and registration process in one application. The new “quick fill capability” automatically enters customer information into the respective title or registration application, streamlining the process.

Currently, Turbo Titles is in its initial phase, requiring customers statewide to pay for their title at an office and await its arrival by mail.

“There is already development on the horizon to build a better automated process,” Laney noted. “Our team is working hard to deliver an easier online experience.”
