On May 12, United Way of Southern Nevada (UWSN) organized its annual Golf United Tournament at Red Rock Country Club. The event aimed to support local children, families, and individuals in need through a day of golf and philanthropy.
The tournament saw participation from over 110 golfers, each contributing to funding vital programs in Southern Nevada. "We’re incredibly thankful to everyone who came out to support UWSN at the Golf United Tournament," stated Samuel Rudd, UWSN President and CEO. "Thanks to their generosity, the funds raised will stay local and help improve lives throughout the valley."
The day began at 9 a.m., featuring an 18-hole course with mountain views. Participants also enjoyed a live auction offering exclusive prizes such as a foursome at the private Summit Club and VIP field passes to a Las Vegas Raiders game. Additionally, golfers could enter a hole-in-one contest for a chance to win a new Findlay Volkswagen Taos.
Sponsors like CenterWell, Nevada AFL – CIO, Corrigan Companies, Valhallan Esports, Korte, Willscot, PwC, Reagan Outdoor Advertising, and Aristrocrat played key roles in making the event successful.
