The Vegas Chamber is set to host a webinar titled "Situation Report: Navigating the Now" on May 29. This event will focus on four significant policy issues impacting Nevada's economy and business environment. The session, organized in collaboration with the Kenny Guinn Center for Policy Priorities, is complimentary for Chamber members.

The webinar, named “4 Policy Topics Impacting Your Business Today,” will cover federal funding in Nevada’s state budget, housing affordability, health workforce development, and labor force participation rates. Mary Beth Sewald, president and CEO of the Vegas Chamber, stated that the series aims to keep members informed about issues shaping the business climate. She noted that "this conversation with the Guinn Center provides valuable insights to help businesses of all sizes make informed decisions in a rapidly changing environment."

Panelists from the Kenny Guinn Center include Jill Tolles as Executive Director, Todd Butterworth as Senior Research Analyst, Pierron Tackes as Director of Health and Social Policy, and Mark Krmpotic as Interim Director of Economic and Fiscal Policy. The discussion promises data-driven insights and actionable takeaways for employers, civic leaders, and policymakers.

A Q&A session will be moderated by Sewald alongside Hugh Anderson, Managing Director of Hightower Las Vegas and Chair of the Chamber’s Government Affairs Committee. This event is part of an ongoing series designed to provide timely policy briefings to assist businesses in navigating economic uncertainty.
