Jesse Hammond has been named the June 2025 Employee of the Month by the Administrative Faculty Assembly (AFA) at the College of Southern Nevada. Hammond, who serves as a Senior Specialist in Talent Acquisition within Human Resources, was nominated anonymously for his dedication to ensuring accurate job postings and his willingness to assist colleagues with questions related to the hiring process.
According to the nomination, "He is always ready to put in extra work, go the extra mile, and provide the necessary tools to anyone who asks for them." Hammond's proactive approach is also noted: "He always looks for resolutions before there is a problem." His focus and drive are evident in his quick responses and feedback that enable campus operations.
Hammond's commitment extends beyond his current duties as he seeks out opportunities to learn new aspects of his role by engaging with supervisors and team members. This recognition highlights his efforts and contributions towards enhancing efficiency within his department.
The AFA is currently seeking nominations for July 2025. They encourage recognizing administrative or professional faculty who make significant contributions.
