Western Nevada College's Child Development Center recently held its annual Preschool Graduation, celebrating the educational milestone for 18 young children. The event underscored the center's dedication to fostering various aspects of child development, including cognitive growth, language proficiency, physical development, literacy, mathematics, and social skills.

Anna Lisa Acosta-Rogers, Director of the Child Development Center, expressed the significance of the graduation ceremony: "The graduation ceremony is always a poignant moment for us," she said. "We form deep connections with each child, and it's incredibly rewarding to witness their growth and readiness for kindergarten. Whether they spent years or months with us, every child leaves an indelible mark."

Acosta-Rogers highlighted the center's mission in preparing children for future success. "Our goal is to instill confidence and resilience in each student," she noted. "We hope that the values and skills they've learned here will empower them in their future endeavors."
