EPIC (Educational Programs Inspiring the Community) has opened registration for its Fall 2025 classes, offering a wide range of non-credit courses at Truckee Meadows Community College (TMCC). The fall session will begin in August and continue through December, featuring more than 260 classes.
The program covers diverse topics including arts and crafts, food and beverage, professional development, health and wellness, games, fashion, and family-friendly activities. Courses are designed to appeal to various interests and age groups. For example, participants can enroll in classes such as Chinese Mahjong or Learn to Play Dungeons and Dragons under Games and Gatherings. Fashion-focused offerings include Rediscovering your Style After 40 and The Confident Closet: Declutter and Define Your Style.
Food enthusiasts have options like Holiday Cookie Decorating, Soul Food, Italian Soups and Minestras, Cooking for One or Two, Preserve Your Harvest, Coffee 101–301, Where do Beer Flavors Come From?, and EPIC’s Tea Blending Workshop. Health-related classes include Sound and Meditation sessions as well as courses on relationships and self-care.
Professional development is also a focus this semester with opportunities to learn about LinkedIn strategies, job searching techniques, project management using generative AI technology, among others.
Special attention is given to students aged 60+ through the EPIC Encore series. Family-friendly courses are also available with designated icons in the course guide for easy identification.
