Dr. Jeffrey Alexander Vice President of Academic Affairs | Truckee Meadows Community College Website

This month, Truckee Meadows Community College (TMCC) has introduced the TMCC Watchlist, a new segment highlighting recent activities and achievements on campus.

Kaylan Phillips has become the first student to graduate from TMCC with a Bachelor of Architecture. Her academic work focused on sustainability, innovation, and designs centered around community needs. The college recognizes her graduation as an important milestone for both Phillips and the institution’s efforts to provide accessible architecture education.

The TMCC Concert Winds ensemble recently performed a space-themed concert featuring music from Star Trek and other cosmic compositions. The performance concluded with an unexpected finale.

Dr. Jeffrey Alexander, the new president of TMCC, participated in a rapid-fire interview where he discussed his background and leadership vision. During the interview, Dr. Alexander also attempted a kendama challenge.

Additionally, TMCC released a lo-fi video filmed at the Countess Angela Dandini Garden on campus. The video is intended to offer students a calming environment suitable for studying or relaxation.
