The College of Southern Nevada’s Global Programs will host "An Evening of Intercultural Exchange" on Thursday, October 9, 2025. The event is scheduled from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Nicholas J. Horn Theater, located on the North Las Vegas Campus.

This annual gathering aims to highlight global connections through music and dance by bringing together performers from various backgrounds. This year’s program features Dokkoi Shamisen Shofukute Gakko and Hanashika Ren, who are traveling from Japan to perform. Their participation will focus on storytelling and musical traditions.

Local community groups will also take part in the event. Performances will include a range of cultural expressions such as mariachi, hula, taiko drumming, and folklorico dancing. Organizers state that these acts reflect the diversity present in Southern Nevada.

General admission tickets are available for $10, with a discounted price of $5 for students and seniors.

"An Evening of Intercultural Exchange" seeks to foster community engagement by celebrating different cultural traditions through performance arts.
