The Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) has introduced a new online service called Quick Cards, now available at all DMV offices across the state. This service allows residents to apply for a first-time driver’s license, identification card, instruction permit, or driver authorization card online through a DriveNV account.
“Quick cards is just that – a faster way to get your driver’s license or ID card,” said DMV Director Tonya Laney. “Now customers can fill out their application online and cut the time spent waiting in an office in half!”
After completing an application online, customers are required to visit a DMV office to pay for their card, provide necessary documentation, and have their photo taken. The final card will be mailed to the address provided during the application process.
“This service is just another great example of what can be done online,” Laney said. “We will have more enhancements down the road where an office visit will not be necessary whatsoever!”
More details about Quick Cards are available on the Nevada DMV website.
